I use a Zoom H2n recorder as a microphone, connected to the Mac via a USB cable, and I plug in my headphones to the Zoom. (This is not necessary, but it helps when you want to edit.) Set beats per minute (bpm) in the “LCD” panel to correspond to the bpm of the backing track.Drag the Audio 1 track below the backing track.The backing track should appear, but it will initially appear empty until the import is complete.
